Oh Polly × Oner ActiveOh Polly × Oner Active

Own your presence.

A global creative movement empowering women to embrace their sensuality, confidence, curves, and desires — through fashion, fitness, and film.

The Mission

Fashion. Fitness. Movement. Sensuality. Confidence.

We believe every woman deserves the freedom to express the parts of herself she is proud of — without shrinking them for anyone else.

Not performed for permission. Expressed because it's yours. This is a movement built around real women — captured in fashion, in motion, and in film.

The Movement

You don't do this alone.

Most of the women who join this project have never been on a set before. What they bring is a sense of how they want to be seen, and no interest in waiting for permission to find out.

Every city we open builds toward the same thing: a group that trains together and shows up for each other's shoots. That is the part that changes something: a body of work made about women by people who asked them first.

Self-Expression

What she's proud of is hers to express.

We don't tell women which part of themselves to celebrate. Sensuality is part of this visual world, and what you express of it is your decision.

That decision is made in writing before a shoot, never on the day. You are never asked to go further than what you agreed, and you can turn down any shoot without it affecting your standing here.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is this a collaboration between Oh Polly and Oner Active?

Yes, but not in the traditional sense — this isn't a professional modeling collaboration built to release a new clothing line. It's an early-stage project the two brands are working on together, aimed at helping women build confidence and express themselves on film. Both brands already put money and attention behind women beyond retail — Oner Active was founded in 2020 by Krissy Cela around strength training and sponsors Project Power (a schools programme getting young girls active); Oh Polly grew out of The Brannerson Foundation, which its founders set up before the brand existed and still fund today.

The project is in its early stages: no deadlines have been set, and the current priority is establishing production teams and models for each campaign. Models accepted into the project aren't employed by either company — you work with the production, not the brands.

What is the point of this project?

This project exists so women who feel held back can express their sensuality and confidence on their own terms — and so that gets captured properly, on film, with them as the subject rather than the decoration. Release dates will be announced once productions are complete; we won't announce a date we can't hold.

How do I know this is a legitimate production?

Fair question, and you should ask it of anyone who approaches you. Here is what we will never do: we will never ask you for money, at any stage. We will never ask you to pay for training, portfolio images, or administration fees. We will never ask for your bank details before a signed agreement is in place. Nothing is filmed that you have not agreed to in writing beforehand. If someone contacts you claiming to represent this project and does any of the above, it is not us — tell your liaison.

This isn't how a modeling agency usually works — should that worry me?

No — it's intentional, not a red flag. A modeling agency typically works through a booker who calls or messages you when something comes up, and you don't see the process in between. This works differently: nobody is going to call you out of nowhere with news. You move through the same seven steps every model in this project does — Application, Portfolio Review, Prework, Training, Campaign Selection, Contract, Onboarded — and you can check exactly where you stand yourself, any time, with your onboarding code. If you're ever unsure what stage you're at, that's the tool to use, not guesswork.

Do I need modeling experience?

No. The project is intentionally interested in newer and less experienced talent. What matters is presence, individuality, and a willingness to grow.

What's actually required?

A genuine interest in expressing yourself and a willingness to learn on set. There's no look, body type, or experience level we're screening for. What you're comfortable expressing is your decision and yours alone — it's agreed in writing before a shoot, you're never asked to go further on the day than what you agreed, and you can decline any shoot without it affecting your standing in the project.

All that said, this isn't for everyone: you need to be a quick learner who puts in the effort, and have the confidence to be shot in front of a camera.

Is this a paid opportunity?

Yes, with competitive pay. Compensation is structured around experience, preparation, training, and demonstrated commitment, and is negotiated and disclosed to you when you select a campaign — after you've completed prework and training — so you know what a shoot pays before you commit to it. Multiple productions may be available, creating additional opportunities to earn.

Will I be trained for free for the shoots?

Yes. After you complete your prework and before onboarding, you'll receive online training at no cost to you. It covers posing, movement, expression, camera presence, and how a set actually runs — so you arrive knowing what's expected of you.

Is there an age requirement?

Yes. Models must be 21 or older.

Can I apply if I'm signed with a modeling agency?

Not currently. The collaboration works directly with participating models rather than through external agencies.

Do I need an invitation to apply?

Applications are invitation-first. We approach women whose social media already shows the kind of self-expression this project is built around, rather than running an open casting call — we'd rather approach a small number of women properly than sort through thousands. If you've been given an invitation code, you can enter it to continue. Please don't contact us or any other Oh Polly or Oner Active accounts asking for an invitation — those messages are unlikely to be seen and usually end up filtered as spam.

If I got invited and have more questions, who do I ask?

Contact your liaison — the person who emailed you. They're your point of contact until you're fully onboarded.

How many shoots and hours are expected of me? What if I work or am in school?

After onboarding, you'll be given shoot options and can choose which — and how many — you'd like to take part in. Scheduling is kept flexible for both production teams and models, and each shoot typically runs about 3–5 hours, making this easy to manage alongside work or school.

Will shoots only take place at the current campaign locations? Will I need to travel if I'm far away?

Not always. The main production teams are based in the campaign cities, and where there's enough interest in another city we'll look at sending a smaller crew. We can't promise that for every location — being in or near a campaign city gives you more options.

Is travel covered?

For confirmed productions, travel and on-set expenses are arranged and paid for by the production team. This is agreed in writing before you commit to a shoot — you should never be out of pocket, and you should never be asked to pay anything up front.

How is my information kept private?

Model profiles, applications, and progress are never made public. Your information is only used for your own participation in the program.

Who owns the rights to the photos and videos from my shoots?

Usage rights, confidentiality, and release terms are outlined in your model agreement, which you'll review and sign before your onboarding is complete — nothing is used outside of what you've agreed to.

Why is this mostly video, not just photos?

Moving image is a defining part of this project. The flagship output is a video-led production — photography remains important, but capturing women moving, training, and expressing themselves is the centerpiece.

I run a photo/video production team — how do we get involved?

If your team has already been assigned to a campaign, you'll take part through Campaign Access, using the campaign name, team name, and access code assigned to your team. If you haven't been assigned yet, apply through the Photo & Video Team application and we'll be in touch as productions in your area are confirmed.

Do production teams need to be based in the main campaign cities?

No. While the primary production is anchored in the selected campaign cities, we also coordinate with smaller teams based closer to models who live farther away — so your team doesn't need to be local to the flagship city to get involved.
